Glazes by the Quart

Please note that all orders are PICK UP ONLY. Please select your location (Black Hound West or Black Hound South) for pick up when you check out. 

All BHCS glazes are food safe. If you are pregnant, please wear gloves while handling. For good coverage, apply 3 brush coats -or- 1 dip coat. Please stir thoroughly before using! Contents may have settled. Thin with water as needed for desired consistency.
When glazing please leave a ¼” margin on all pieces and make sure all bottoms are free of glaze.

Kittens Clear: crystal clear, reliable and good to put over underglazes

Gloss White: an opaque glossy bright white

Matte White: a satin matte rich buttery opaque white glaze, not ideal for high contact food surfaces

Salted Butter: an opaque satin yellow glaze

Pond Green: a transparent deep green glaze with blue tones

Sky Blue: an opaque rutile blue glaze with some variation

Glossy Black: an opaque glossy black

Matte Black: an opaque black with a satin/matte finish, made with the same base as the matte white. 

Grape Soda: an opaque glossy purple

Aqua: a translucent, high gloss glaze. Be sure to leave plenty of space for a margin, may run if thick or in certain combinations

Rutile Rose: an opaque, glossy mauve. 

Oatmeal: an opaque neutral/tan color with a satin finish. **for best results use over other glazes** This glaze will crawl when under other glazes.
