Reclaimed Clay for Purchase

Reclaimed, Pugged and Deaired clay is now available for purchase at Black Hound! This clay is priced at a 50% discount from new bagged clay. 

Reclaimed clay comes in bundles of approximately 25 pounds - four 3 inch diameter logs, each approximately 12 inches long. Clay has been thoroughly mixed and deaired and is ready for use with minor wedging. Clay has been triple wrapped in a dry cleaning bag. 

Please note that we cannot guarantee that any pugged reclaim is purely one clay or the other due to the nature of how the pug mill mixes clay. If you need factory consistency, we suggest purchasing new clay. 

All reclaimed clay is guaranteed to fire to Cone 6. 

Please allow 24-36 hours for it to be ready for pick up. Your clay will be pulled by BHCS staff and will be on the pick up shelves near the front door in the flex space. Please wait for a notification email before you come pick up.
